Image
Recent rumors and claims that Olumide Osaigbovo Akpata, the Edo State gubernatorial candidate, is not of Benin lineage are unfounded and misleading. Akpata’s father, Osaigbovo Akpata, hails from the Ogbebor N Usen family, a prominent Bini lineage known for its rich history and contributions to Benin culture. His mother also has a deep connection to Benin. On his maternal side, Olumide Akpata’s great grandfather, Obasohan, was a prominent Bini man from the Ize-Iyamu Bazuwaye family, known for their contributions to Benin politics and administration His great grandmother was also Bini, from the Ero family, one of the ancient royal families of Benin. This rich heritage has been passed down to Olumide Akpata, making him a true embodiment of Bini and Yoruba culture. Justifying violence is inhumane, using Bible is evil, Dr. Eholor blasts O.M

Image
Rev. Olu Martins, you have taken a biblical quote out of context and used it to justify violence and aggression. This is unacceptable and must be addressed! In a recent statement, you compared Lagos and Benin, making light of the importance of Benin as the center of African civilization. Your ignorance and lack of respect for the history and culture of Benin is appalling. Furthermore, your attempt to justify the vandalization of campaign banners in Benin City by the thugs of Godwin Obaseki is reprehensible. But the most egregious aspect of your statement was your defense of MC Olumo's crim!nal activities. Do you not see the harm that these acts cause to our society? Or are you so blinded by your own political agenda that you cannot distinguish between right and wrong? As Chief Dr. Patrick Osagie Eholor, I will not stand idly by while you spread misinformation and glorify criminal behavior. I call on all good people of Edo State and Nigeria to speak out against this kind of reckle...

In a recent video that has sparked widespread controversy, Chief Patrick Osagie Eholor, a prominent figure in Nigerian politics, made a startling revelation that he had visited a witch coven. This revelation has stirred up a whirlwind of speculation and debate, with many questioning the intentions behind such a declaration. For those unfamiliar with Chief Eholor, he is known for his outspoken nature and unapologetic stance on various social and political issues. However, this recent revelation has taken many by surprise, prompting both curiosity and concern. While some may dismiss Chief Eholor's claim as mere sensationalism or a ploy for attention, it is essential to approach the matter with an open mind and a willingness to understand the cultural and spiritual context behind his statement. In many African societies, the practice of traditional religion, including beliefs in witchcraft and spiritual rituals, holds significant importance. These beliefs are deeply rooted in the cu...
