Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo has reacted to socialite Farida Sobowale's suicide attempt Thursday night.  According to the actress, she was on the phone with Sobowale for a while but was unaware that the Lagos socialite and Chief Executive Officer of House of Phreeda,  was planning on ending her life.  Iyabo, also prayed for Sobowale, adding that things would get better in no time. The Enugu State Police Command said it has arrested four people involved in different offenses of conspiracy, housebreaking, vandalism, and unlawful possession of firearms and ammunition.  This was made known in a statement signed by the State Public Relations Officer, DSP Daniel Ndukwe and shared on the command's X (formerly Twitter) handle.  The statement said, "Police Operatives of Enugu State have arrested a total of four (4) male victims involved in different offenses of conspiracy, housebreaking, vandalism, and unlawful possession of firearms and ammunition. Angel, a former housemate in the Season 6 edition of the show (Shine ya eye), disclosed this during a conversation with fellow housemate Soma on Tuesday. She said, "I numbed myself out after my suicide attempt in March because it got so chaotic. Fame divided me into pieces and left those pieces on the floor for me to pick up. It broke me. The Federal Government has insisted that no federal university is allowed to charge tuition fees in the country. The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education, Mr David Adejo said this at a public hearing by the House of Representatives ad hoc committee on student loans in Abuja on Tuesday. Adejo said that the recent increase in charges by federal universities in the country was unfortunate. “What they collect is charges to cover the cost of accommodation, ICT, and power, among others.
