2023 Election: Jonathan advise Nigerian youths on whom to vote for.

Former President Goodluck Jonathan has appealed to Nigerian youths to vote for a president that has the interest of the nation at heart.


He made the call in Minna, Niger State, on Wednesday during a visit to a former Head of State, Abdulsalami Abubakar, where he affirmed that all the nation needs, is a president who has the interest of the country at heart. Adding that only a candidate who sees Nigeria as a project can save the nation.

“I appeal to the youth to select a person they believe will lead us well and serve us well, somebody who will take the interests of all of us and the country to heart; a leader who will not compromise our interests for personal gain, especially one who sees Nigeria as a project.

The former president also declared openly that“A leader is also a servant, and as president, you are to lead and you are to serve

Although the courtesy visit is as a result of his return from medical treatment abroad, Jonathan said he was also in Minna because the nation needs him as a result of the role he plays in stabilising the peace of the nation.

“It has been over a year since I visited the state. As the youngest former president, I go around from time to time to visit them. I haven’t seen General Abdulsalami for quite some time, and you know he just came back from medical treatment abroad, so it is proper for me to come with some of my friends to pay a courtesy call and greet him,” He saidthe-new-golden-penny-400g-midi-pack.
